Papa delivers a fresh fish (looks like a carp) to the nest for an eaglet dinner. Because of our vantage point, until an eaglet grows big enough for us to get a glimpse above the edge of the nest, we can’t tell how many eaglets have hatched. We can tell when they’ve hatched as Mama and Papa are clearly feeding, but we don’t know how many. For sure there is one, and speculation abounds there may be two, and time will tell. See also the images of the little one after dinner, and then Mama takes off for a bit to rest in the nearby cottonwood tree.
