    A male Ruby-throated Hummingbird enjoyed the flowers the other evening, a quick in and out and nobody gets hurt . . .

    The flowers are in full bloom, and slowly but surely a few visitors of the hovering kind pay a visit. As we move into August, the pace of the visits will pick up as they have finished with the young ones and will start preparing for their own great migration.
