    The January 2020 photo from the Eagles & Eaglets calendar features one of the adult eagles sitting in the nest next to one of the young eaglets (most likely the female since they spend about 90% of their time early on in the nest). Two eaglets hatched during the 2019 season, and the other one was hiding somewhere, probably a little camera shy . . .

    We'll start with the December 2019 image (which is also on the cover), and this image was from April 2019 and captures (what I believe to be) the adult male. The male and female were both sitting in the top of the tree by the nest with the recently hatched eaglets, and he took off to fly to the river and grab some grub for the little ones.

    We were very fortunate on June 28th as we watched the 2nd eaglet fledge from the nest, and not accidentally like its sibling. Both of the eaglets were in the nest today, and according to the folks that had been there through the day, the new fledgling had been taking off and circling and coming back to the nest . . .
