A Ruby-throated came in fast but went into full-flaps mode to stop before tangling with a bumblebee that already had dibs on a flower. "On second thought, I'll just hover over yonder way . . . "

The Cape May Warblers are making their way to the Caribbean from their summer digs in the boreal forests of the northern US and Canada, and for a few days around here they have been energizing up on some grapes . . .
