The Cape May Warblers are making their way to the Caribbean from their summer digs in the boreal forests of the northern US and Canada, and for a few days around here they have been energizing up on some grapes. They work along the inside of the grapevines pecking at the grapes, and finally one made a brief appearance before darting back in to the grape buffet (in the upper right of the image you can see a grape with a small area that has been pecked). I’m no warbler expert, but based on what I’ve researched, I believe this to be an adult female.
